DESCRIPTION

Detroit Ballroom a.k.a. Motown Style Ballroom has been danced for decades in Detroit. Its roots are based in the Cha-Cha dance combined with various elements of Ballroom Dance viewed at the Greystone Ballroom (1922-1972) in Detroit, MI. A partner is helpful but not necessary. Soulful Line Dance (or Hustle as it's called in Detroit), is a communal dance that invites all ages and bodies to move in unison. Come on out and have a good time! Wear comfortable shoes or dress shoes, it's up to you!
