Ebonie Barnett, a leading Afro Diasporic dancer from the Bay Area, began her dance journey in Richmond, CA, at age five. Trained extensively at Dimensions Dance Theater, she's mastered a diverse array of styles including Guinea West African dance, Hip Hop, Tap, jazz, Ballet, and Haitian Folkloric. Her performances have graced stages alongside artists like Sean Kingston and at prestigious events such as the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival. Passionate about using movement to heal, she teaches youth in community spaces, focusing on the roots of Hip Hop within the African Diaspora. Through her work, including events like "Back to the Roots," Ebonie empowers Black and Brown youth to embrace their cultural identity and leadership potential.
