DESCRIPTION

Co-Hosted by The Brotherhood of Elders Network, this intermediate/advance drum class explores Mindfulness, Movement and various Drum and Percussion styles. Taught by Master Drummer and Teacher Baba Mosheh Milon, this class seeks to build community and to unlock the healing power of West African Drumming. (BYOD - Bring Your Own Drum)

Baba Mosheh Milon, Sr., is the Founder and Artistic Director of Bantaba Dance Ensemble. Bantaba takes its name from a Mandingo term that describes the “community circle and gathering place for all important events.” A master drummer, percussionist, folklorist, teaching artist and drum maker with over 50yrs of experience, Baba Mosheh is considered "Tan Tan Djali ba," a keeper of the oral traditions of African Drums and Culture.
