DESCRIPTION

Come join us to try a sampling of American folk dance styles: clogging, square dance, Cajun and others in this 90 minute introduction to American Folk Dancing. Based in Berkeley, Jubilee is the Bay Area’s preeminent folk ensemble, bringing to the stage the dance and music of the various traditions that make up America. This includes clogging, square dance, running sets, polkas, waltzes, Cajun, swing, hornpipes, and other historical social dances.
